天哪! ‘06年快過了耶! 真不敢相信今年只剩兩天不到的時間而已!

回想起來﹐今年好像沒發生什麼人生大事~ 對上一段感情已經完完全全告別了﹐剩下只剩明年六月畢業而已~

今年從語言交換﹑報社等認識了滿多新朋友﹐有好的也有壞的。開學前大家都各自回到自己的崗位。聖誕節前發了電郵給他們﹐想不到還記得我﹐真的是滿開心的!

今年好像跟運勢預言上的一樣﹐多數的時間完全奉獻給了朋友。現在再半個學期就能畢業了﹐發現自己對未來好像有點徬惶失措﹐跟朋友好像也玩不太起來﹐也比較聊不開來。我想這就是人生吧!每個人都在成長﹐都有自己的工作和自己的目標和夢想須追逐與完成......

well, 總歸一句﹐希望明年會更好囉!

年底也是華語唱片界的大月﹐而今年也不例外。際格格BLUE後﹐曹格又推出了新專輯"Superman"。也許大家可能期待曹格這張專輯裡還會有如"Superwoman"或"沉默玩具"等澎湃洶湧的動人情歌﹐然而這張專輯大家可能找不到任何這一類的情歌。話雖如此﹐聽完專輯後﹐我個人覺得曹格這張專輯對華語音樂來說真的是有所突破。專輯內雖然沒有氣勢浩然的情歌﹐但多了幾分放克和雷鬼﹐以及濃濃的美式節奏藍調味道。從這張專輯裡﹐你可能找到如Stevie Wonder﹑Michael Jackson﹑Usher﹑R.Kelly等嘻哈﹑節奏藍調先驅的影子。這張新專輯是際林子良"自告奮勇"後﹐華人唱片界重大突破和眾樂迷的一大福音﹗推薦整張專輯! 整張專輯從頭到尾保證讓你跟著節奏搖擺。非常耐聽的一張專輯﹐值得樂迷們收藏。

想想當年曹格就是因為音樂風格太美式而遭到唱片公司拒於門外真的是有點諷刺。如今風水輪流轉﹐曹格成了當紅的音樂人﹐為音樂界搶手的創作人。真的要歸功於曹格的努力﹐不氣餒﹐不放棄﹐今天大家才能聽到那麼好聽的節奏藍調! XD

The Christmas Report

aite~ havent been bloggin for the past week or so cuz I am too busy partying and shopping! XD my best Christmas yet~ let's record all those little events of the past week~

Dec.23, Ben's b-day, went to all you can eat dinner at Shabusen (this name looks funny in english...) chilled with Kevin and Gordon in Metro before the dinner~ holy smokes! it sure was friggin crowded down there~ ......saw Nick with a Japanese looking girl in downtown~ Man! seriously no comment man! are ppl just desperate for relationships nowadays? :P

Dec.24-25 - nothing big happened~ stayed home with family to enjoy the holidays~ I was hoping to try some egg nog this Christmas but I guess that never happened~ went out for bubble tea with Chris and Mark~ not my idea but Chris wanted to get something to eat~ we happened to land at a bubble tea place~ we usually land at some place like this anyways =)

Dec.26 'tis is sure one of the big days of this Christmas! went to a lot of places: Wal-Mart, Bestbuy, Futureshop, Superstore etc etc~ it was friggin' crowded everywhere and I couldn't understand how possibly ppl could buy so much~

'nayways, notwithstanding my criticisms, I guess my shopping for the year was done on this day as well~ picked up a new printer at NCIX in New City Square: Cannon Pixma ip1600~ comes with both colour and black cartridges and prints pictures from digital cam~ the sweetest thing is that I paid only 11 bucks for the thing!!! XD even though I shelled out another 3 bucks for an usb cable, it's all worth the price~ just hooked the thing up yesterday and the thing sure seems to be much much much faster than my old hp inkjet from what? 10yrs ago? LOL

other than the printer, Moi picked up 5 VHS for 10 bucks at superstore: Lord of the Ring I and II, Jerry Mcguire, 13 Going to 30 and the Polar Express~ finished watching the Polar Express on the 27th and half way through 13 Going to 30 (starring Jennifer Garner!) I think the Polar Express was not bad (thanks to all those who made me miss this movie when it was on! some ppl!) 13 Going to 30 is such a girl movie though....errr.... guess some movies aren't made for guys~ LOL

on top of the VHS, I went in to NCIX again to pick up another mp3 player with 1gb flash memory and up to 2gb digital memory expansion slot~ cost me 73 bucks in total for the player and a 2gb SD card, roughly 35 bucks each~ got my first go at new technology with the micro-SD I got as the other Kingston 2gb card was sold out~ had some trouble getting the SD card to work but managed at last and now beaming with a 3gb player that works like an IPOD shuffle yet better XD

however, as I am still experimenting with the new player, I found out that max capacity for the player is 512 songs, which kinda sux cuz I was hoping to stuff about a thousand songs with 3gb of space~ guess the player still has its limits~ no I am stuck with a 3gb player that can hold about 2gb of songs.... which is still not bad considering the price~ however, I was looking for more bang with my bucks~ guess nothing works perfectly!

last but not least, I finally got my first taste of the world renowned ice cream, Haagen Daz! I picked up a bucket of Haagen Daz that was on sale for 4 bucks and did I love it! I got rocky chocolate and ummmm... it tastes sooooooo good~ white chocolate melted into dark chocolate with traces of almonds among the swirl is simply delicious! maybe I should go in and get another one!

there u have it folks! one of the best Christmas I've had in years!

三年漫長的等待﹐蕭亞軒終於回來了!

記得上次聽到ELVA的聲音時已是"第五大道"那張專輯的時候了。那都已經是我差不多高三的事了耶!

漫長的等待﹐ELVA z BACK!!!

主打歌"表白"為一首時下的流行歌曲﹐非常有Paris Hilton或Kylie Minogue的味道。DJ個人覺得主打歌還好﹐不太習慣ELVA唱這一類型的曲調。這種類型好像Jolin比較適合吧!

對於ELVA獨創的大眼妝﹐我也只有不語自評。。。本人還是比較比較樸素一點的造型啦!

有件重要的事覺得非給它留言不可~其實前天就應該留了啦﹐但最近真的是太懶了 ~哈哈~

前天見到美女噢!這裡不要把她給寫得太直接﹐要不然有天她逛到這裡我就完蛋了~

雖然媽媽覺得差不多中上﹐但我覺得其實不錯......umm...以我的標準差不多75以上~雖然不是超級漂亮﹐但我看也有資格算得上是美女啦!可能是因為太久沒看到美女﹐生活真的是過得有點無精打采﹐滿無聊的~朋友圈裡面﹐很多人的女朋友﹐我給他們的感想都是不語自評......真的是有點覺得這年頭是不是大家都滿desperate﹔擔心交不到女朋友還是怎樣。

我的標準其實也不會太高﹐但我也沒有低到見一個愛一個~大家都說射手座花心﹐見一個愛一個﹐真的是有點冤枉~不是每一個射手都這樣!我承認也曾看上幾個不錯的女生﹐但我又沒有女朋友﹐怎可以稱得上是花心呢﹖美女誰不喜歡﹖

大家看我的部落格雖然有時會貼上幾張美女的圖像金泰喜﹑韓彩英等﹐但我的標準沒那麼高啦!並不一定要像她們那樣的超級大美女我才會接受~目前單身的我當然希望能找到超可愛的女朋友(誰不希望呢﹖說不的人都是在唬爛我~)﹐但那也僅限於一份憧憬。以前也喜歡一位美女﹐但美麗的外表下讓人捉摸不定﹐所以我現在對女生其實有點小怕怕。當然﹐隨之而來的條件也降低啦!之前那個可能給她90分﹐現在75分以上就能接受啦!現在就已經降了15分了﹐真是無法想像30歲時會怎樣。。。LOL!

anyways, 要說的就那麼多囉~ 把最近看到的美女記錄起來﹐以後也有個回憶~說不定有緣也會成一對~誰知道﹖

2 EPs from Korean singers, As One and Bae Seul Gi~ really enjoying the latter EP "Happy Christmas" from Bae Seul Gi~ there is both a Korean version and an English version for the song so dig in and enjoy! very cute singer:D

the only "true" album is from Babyface, perhaps my favourite English r&b singer~ I was just listening to the album on my way home from an outing today~ very good album with classics such as "Silent Night", "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer", "First Noel", "Silent Night" etc~ I think most of ya will enjoy the album, enjoy the different singing style from one of the greatest r&b singers of all time~

don't know what else to put down... just got home from an outing... feeling a bit drowsy~ anyways, Happy Christmas everyone! more updates in a bit~ :P

2006.11.12 K First Christmas

A small dose of J-pop Christmas tunes for ya'll~

This fairly recently single is from K, first Korean male singer to debut in Japan after BoA forged into the Japanese music scene a few years ago~ K is only now beginning to gain the attention of Japanese fans~ compared to bigger names such as Rain, Se7en and BoA, K is kinda just by the side quietly cultivating his own popularity~

K (that's an awesome name btw) finally began to rise to stardom when he sang the theme song for the drama "1 Litre's Tear" ("Only Human" I think...) I believe "First Christmas" is his latest single since "Only Human"~

many have compared K to the renowned Japanese r&b artist, Hirai Ken, mentioning their similarly talented vocals (although I think Hirai Ken still has an edge over K...) K's first Korean album is excellent btw~ if anyone's interested in digging into his Korean stuff, this is one place to start~

K's newest single is excellent! "First Christmas" indeed prepares one for Christmas with the winter atmosphere it exudes~ my favourite track is the side track "Still" though~ this is a must listen! I haven't heard such great light r&b in awhile now! so dig in and have a listen boys and girls! :D

蔡伯南是誰呢?大家可能對這個名字不太熟悉﹐但說出他做的歌大家一定都聽過--- 痴心絕對 。

夠熟了吧?這首歌所創造的樂壇奇蹟就不用多談了~ 從2002年李聖傑發片至今﹐這首歌已經傳唱大街小巷﹐不知道被翻唱過了多少次﹐更是許多人唱歌時的必點之選!

據我所知﹐蔡伯南寫"痴心絕對"時才13歲! you think he thinks too much? I think so too! 13歲就寫這麼感人肺腑﹐扣人心弦﹐讓人心酸﹐痛哭﹐猛捶胸口的歌曲是不是有點太早熟了點兒?

目前蔡伯南還在就學中﹐也只有在李聖傑的專輯中出現。希望不久的將來他也會想當時的周杰倫一樣展露頭角!

2006.08.30 Kaoru Amane Taiyou no uta 雨音薫 タイヨウのうた

slight deviation from my composer special~ this is a song I've fallen in love with over the past week or so: Kaoru Amane's "Taiyou no Uta"~

"Taiyou no Uta" is actually both a movie and a drama~ the movie stars one of the emerging young pop/rock singers in Japan, Yui, who is also one of my favourite singers:P the drama stars Erika Sawajiri (hopefully I got that right...), who broke out with the drama "1 Litre's Tear"~ I actually have the dvd at home but haven't found the time to watch it~ I should really settle down and watch the drama over the Christmas holiday!

"Taiyou no Uta" is an excellent single from Kaoru Amane, whose music style is similar to Yui or Michelle Branch's pop/rock style~ the rhythem and lyric is fairly catchy so after once or twice, you'll be able to sing or hum along with the tune too!

好像好久沒有更新音樂盒了﹐聖誕假期就讓我好好地把它"整修"一下吧~嘿嘿~~

這一篇就做之前說過的陶喆合輯吧!

前陣子在聽郭子(大家應該還記得這位歌手吧)的歌時發現其實一張唱片還是幕後的製作人和創作人最厲害。一個創作人的歌曲好不好聽往往造就一張唱片乃至於一個歌手的耐聽度。像許多人喜歡的陶喆﹑王力宏﹑周杰倫等都是歌手兼創作人。他們的音樂給許多人一個共同的印象就是好聽。但華人音樂界裡並不是只有這些創作歌手才是好的音樂人﹐其實也有很多幕後﹐不為大眾所注意的創作人和音樂人。接下來幾篇文章會為各位介紹這些鮮為人知的音樂人和他們歷年來的作品。你可能會被他們所推出過的作品大吃一驚。有些幕後製作人的才華可和陶喆﹑王力宏﹑周杰倫等不相上下呢!

煩煩煩﹗最近的心情真的是只有這個字可以形容﹗

報告寫完又要忙考試。。。考試考完又要忙研究所申請。。。這期間還要去看牙醫啦﹐換駕照等有的沒的。。。真不知道什麼時候才有自己的時間 ><

再加上家裡又不過聖誕節﹐有時候真羨慕那些可以考完試後﹐準備回家與家人團聚﹐共度佳節的學生們。。。

而我呢﹖聖誕節可以幹嘛﹖還不是跟往常一樣﹐窩在家裡上網。。。既沒有女朋友﹐也沒有教會﹐較好的朋友大家都不在這裡﹐也沒有要去旅行什麼的。。。聖誕節連個禮物也不會收到﹐真的是完全沒有節慶的氣氛﹗ 這可能是為什麼我喜歡在這段期間往外跑吧﹗一﹐能感受聖誕氣氛﹔二﹐趁有時間的時候儘量與朋友在外頭兒閒晃﹐鬼混~ 假如朋友都忙的話﹐我會覺得滿寂寞的。。。

1992.06 少女隊 偏愛你的心 (懷念噢!)

嘿嘿... 忙裡偷閒﹐上一張絕版專輯上來~

很多人可能對少女隊這支組合不太熟悉﹐可能連聽都沒聽過~ 大多數的人可能只記得小時候的小虎隊和草蜢﹐可能不記得這支團體~

其實92年時﹐我剛來加拿大﹐所以除了小虎隊外﹐其他都不記得了~ 最近在網上發現了一個專上傳老歌的一個論壇﹐在裡頭發現了這張專輯~

少女隊是由徐若瑄﹑王思涵和吳珮瑜所組成的早期女子團體~ 對﹐你沒看錯﹐是徐若瑄耶! 當時﹐徐若瑄不過15歲﹐剛從美少女選拔賽中脫穎而出~

在網上查了查相關資料﹐少女隊總共發了兩張專輯﹐91年的"PS I Love You 我的心要去旅行"和92年的"偏愛你的心"~ 團體好像並沒有特紅﹐專輯並沒有大賣的樣子~ 之後﹐少女隊解散﹐徐若瑄便前往日本發展~ 現在大家還有印象的可能只剩Vivian吧!

回顧這支組合其實還滿有趣的~ 可以看到青澀的徐若瑄﹐亦可以聽到當時的流行曲風~ DJ現在超愛同名主打歌"偏愛你的心"~青春洋溢﹐滿像伊能靜的"十九歲的最後一天"或"悲傷茱麗葉"~至於專輯的其他歌曲﹐我就沒有太大的印象了。大家就自己聽聽看囉!

the term has finally come to a close! yay! only finals left~ if I can pull off some decent marks, I'll be set for graduation next term! woowho!!

another thing to woohoo about is BoA's new single! well, it's not really a new single but a new song included in a Korean ost (I forgot the name of the ost)~ the single is called "sunshine", which is a big contrast to all the snow that everyone's seeing in Vancouver right now~ anyways, a good song~ nice ballad feel to it~ a nice follow up to her "winter song" released awhile ago~apparently BoA is supposed to have a new Korean album coming out soon but I read somewhere that it's unfortunately pushed back~ can't wait for the new BoA album! Her last Korean album was so-so in my opinion~ I liked the song "spark" and that was it~ the company should have had a mv for it!

her 4th album "My Name" seems so long ago that I am really looking forward to her new Korean album~ it'll probably feature a lot of remake from her last Japanese album "Outgrow", which is an awesome album to say the least~ I also can't wait for BoA's new Japanese album after listening to a couple of great singles and watching a couple of great mvs eg "Nana iro no ashita", "Brand New Beat", "Winter Love" etc~ it seems that BoA's devoting much of her energy to the Japanese music scene right now~ however, I'd like to see her spend more time in Korea, as that's her root and that'll also give me someone to root for in the Korean music scene~ there are not many female singers in Korea who I like.... there are J and T (yeah, sounds funny eh? T's full name is Tasha)~ not really into Lee Hyori with all her skimpy outfit... FINKL disbanded... such a sad music scene for guys out there! anyways, here is the single~ and below is allegedly the new Korean album cover~ :D

I'm free!... at least for now... as I got all my papers done~ :D

first final in a week~ I haven't even flipped open the textbook yet... I think I am dead~

anyways, I picked up a new mp3/video player at future shop on my way back from home yesterday~ it's actually not a bad buy for $50+ considering it has video and jpg browsing functions~ moreover, its 1gb :D

however, its not the best after I have had it for one day~ you won't find a lot of reviews about this player online so I'll do a quick pro/con list for those of you thinking of getting a new player this Christmas~

Pros:

1. good space; 1 gb for approximately 50 bucks, not a bad deal~
2. displays english, spanish and both traditional and simplified chinese
3. slick design~ compact~ not like the "hockey puck" you imagined~
4. nice sound~ indeed loud enough ie 64kbps wma actually sounds pretty good on this player~ good for listening outdoors
5. multiple functions including photo browsing, e-book browsing, voice recording, fm radio, mp3 and video~ plays mp3 and wma (I havent tried wma drm yet... but I dont think it'll play the format)
6. really detailed instruction manual, which is good for newbies~

Cons:

1. no folder browsing function!!! which is kinda annoying in a sense, as every time you listen to the player, it starts reading from track 1~ if want to listen track 50/100, you'd have to press forward/reverse 50 times...(or 49 times...)
2. the player resets its settings every time you turn it on/off~ the sound is geared up to the fullest every time you turn it on so be careful not to blow ur ears off!
3. although the sound quality is good, it may be too loud for indoor listening~ even its lowest sound is about half the volume capacity of my old player (not that old actually...just got it back in the summer)~ so definately something that's good for workout/outdoors but so-so indoors~
4. haven't got the fm radio to work yet~ apparently, it may be kinda hard~ oh well~
5. so-so battery power~ I got 'bout 4hrs of music after 12 hrs of charging (its installed with a lithium ion battery)~ however, I followed the instruction guide on this, as it suggests that the first couple times should be charged for 12hrs in order to prime the battery for longer battery life~
6. USB1.5~ slow transfer indeed! (Mike, should have trusted you on this one!) with that said, however, it's only a bit slower than avg... perhaps an extra 30 seconds for an album to transfer~ it's okay if you don't mind the slightly longer transfer time~


So I've come up with 6 pros and 6 cons~ indeed this is not your best player on Earth, however, if you just want a decent player for an affordable price, this is not a bad player to buy, considering all its functions~ a decent player with video functions would normally cost you about upwards of $150~ therefore, consider this player a bargain for only 1/3 the price!

only future shop has this player on sale~ there are a couple other teams to choose from aside from the Canucks~ you have Boston, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal, Detroit and Colorado~ apparently, it seems that the Canucks one is only sold in BC~

there you have it! my review for the "Watch" player~ definately a nice player for Christmas if you don't wanna spend too much~ of course, everyone would probably enjoy an Ipod, a nano or a Samsung more~ however, not all ppl have 2 or 3 big ones on hand~ so buy it if you want something slick, slim and affordable~ don't buy this player if you are the high-end type!

終於下雪囉﹗

期盼已久的下雪天終於到了!雪從昨天傍晚就開始下了﹐一直下到現在﹐外面已經是白茫茫的一片白色世界了!

記得上一年冬天好像沒下什麼雪﹐我看今年就讓它下個夠吧!外面要有厚厚的雪才有冬天的氣氛﹐才像在加拿大~

跟在韓國的朋友聊了一下﹐發現她那邊沒有下雪~ well, too bad~ hehe:P 遲早會下啦﹗韓國比溫哥華冷耶﹗

歷史報告還剩1500字左右﹐應該下午能把它幹掉~ 嘿嘿﹐終於可以鬆口氣了。。。

明天在寫一個小小的綱要﹐這個學期就不用再寫報告了﹗接下來只剩考試而已。。。

最近好像出了滿多新專輯的~ 昨天剛抓了Melody(日本歌手。看下面~) 的演唱會DVD~ oh yes, 本來以為沒人會上傳~ Melody真的是超正的﹗

現在在抓廣瀨香美的最新專輯 GIFT+﹐等一下有空的話﹐我會把它傳上來~ 廣瀨香美就是唱"日付変更線"(註﹕國際換日線)的那位歌手~ 超好聽﹗廣瀨屬於實力派唱將型~

Chemistry (超化學男子) 發了全新的精選輯~ YUI 前陣子也發行了新的單曲~ Exile 和倖天來未也合作了一首新的單曲~ 韓國方面﹐輝星發了一支數位單曲﹐為韓片"中天"的主題曲~ 片中有金泰希耶﹗好像還不錯﹐大家要去看噢﹗

張惠春 aka Saya 發了可能是告別歌壇的最後一張精選輯﹐有興趣的話﹐要去買專輯噢﹗以後可能在螢光幕上見不到她了﹗羅志祥出了新專輯。。。睽違6年後﹐陶莉萍前天也發了個人第二張專輯~ 大家可能對這個名字不太熟悉﹐有空的話﹐我再介紹~ 楊乃文好像也快發片了~ 這也是張期盼已久的專輯~ 其他像蕭亞軒﹑曹格和TANK可能都會在年底或明年初發片﹐所以大家拭目以待吧﹗

最近想滑雪﹐有人要去嗎﹖。。。

2006년 9월 14일 이승기 리메이크 앨범 - 남자가 여자를 사랑할때

hehe~ the skills of copy and paste to get some Korean flava onto my page:D

anyways, not gonna spend a lot of time on this post~ about 40% through my 5000 word paper~ it's amazing how I actually find enough things to talk about in my paper~ I just found out a decent analogy can be made between Gandhi and Confucius~

back to the album~ this is 이승기(Lee Seung Gi) 's newest album~ it seems that he has only 2 albums to date, including this album~ this is a remake album, which means Lee took a bunch of songs from other singers and did a new rendition of the songs~

the hit song is from As One's hit single "원하고 원망하죠" [track 02] (I actually have no idea how this translates.... so much for my Korean skills! told ya I am not the greatest~) anyways, I really like the new version~ the new album also includes a string version in the end, which rounds up the album pretty nicely~

I am not that familiar with the other song titles but I think I must have heard of em somewhere or another~

anyways, that's it~ gotta get back to work soon~ check the album out!:D

2006.11.08 Melody Lovin' U

Woohoo! finally finished my paper for History 432! a massive 4,500 report~ now I have approximately another 7 days to crank out another one for my other seminar course... @#$@#%!!!

seeing that I don't have a lot of time on hand, here's Melody's new single for y'all~ Melody has 2 albums to date and is one of the rising pop stars in Japan right now~ Hawaian native, therefore she speaks perfect English~ gorgeous figure and charming smile: another singer the DJ likes:P

she's not just a doll btw, she can actually sing and dance~ her first album is awesome with hits like "dreaming away", "over the rainbow" etc (there's a song I can't remember right now... but its really good:P) her second album is average but nonetheless, it includes the hit single "realize"~ the song was apparently used as the theme song for an anime series~ I uploaded the video onto youtube before summer and little did I expect such wide popularity from it~

1988 伊能靜 十九歲的最後一天!

認識我的人應該都十九歲以上了吧~哈哈哈~沒想到大家都那麼老了﹗LOL

最近真的是走復古風﹐超愛聽老歌的。

1988年好像是個魔術數字﹐超多好專輯都差不多這時候上市。98年也是。。。這麼說下一波音樂盛世因該是2008囉﹗讓我們拭目以待吧﹗

其實我對伊能靜沒什麼印象﹐好像是我小時候台灣唯一的一位少女偶像歌手吧~哪像這個年頭﹐到處都是偶像歌手﹐一年比一年多。

這張專輯好像是伊能靜的首張專輯噢﹗之前我只有聽過她的悲傷朱麗葉﹑關不住和我很勇敢﹐所以這張專輯對我來說也算滿新奇的。整張專輯走八零年代華人流行樂的路線﹐非常輕快的曲風﹐更現在所謂的輕快曲風有很大的落差。那時期的曲風好像比較純璞。聽了太多現代曲風﹐我個人其實還滿喜歡那時候比較簡單一點的曲風。

1988年﹐大家應該連小學都還沒上吧﹗現在讓我們時空倒轉﹐進入那時候的音樂世界吧﹗

yay! 已經混了3天﹐報告連一個字都還沒動~ woohoo!!! 死定了我﹗

3天來都在幹嘛?當然是抓歌啊!看!我這個DJ多稱職﹗

廢話不多說﹐放上最近的戰利品。

94年﹐華仔發了這張超經典的專輯"忘情水"。相信大家都聽過這張專輯的同名主打歌﹐傳唱度高到現在我們這一輩的人還可以琅琅上口﹐真的是不得了的一首歌。劉德華最紅的應該是這首忘情水吧﹗沒記錯的話﹐這張專輯當年狂銷了八十萬張。94年的時候剛好我來加拿大兩年左右﹐所以其實這首歌我也是後來才從精選輯裡面聽到的。yes, I'm Out-Date, okay? LOL:D

很多人可能只聽過忘情水﹐並沒有把整張專輯聽完﹐所以在此就一併獻上。專輯聽下來﹐還是主打歌最好聽﹐但整張專輯還是滿耐聽的啦。目前我只有聽過一次﹐所以不能評論太多﹐但大家就況且聽聽吧﹗

最近我發現舊唱片裡常常收錄主打歌的原版。這些原版往往與後來電台播放或專輯收錄的版本不太一樣﹐往往聽起來更有感覺﹗忘情水也不例外﹐原版與精選輯裡面的版本不太一樣噢~ 前幾天放的 Karyn White 專輯也一樣~ 裡面的Superwoman和後來的版本不太一樣噢﹗(不過試聽是放新版就是了~想聽原版的話﹐只好下整張專輯囉﹗註釋﹕原版更猛﹐更有爆發力﹗)

今天最後一張專輯﹕劉若英的"很愛很愛你"。

靠﹗現在傳不上去是怎樣﹖

anyways, 想必大家都聽過這張專輯的同名主打歌"很愛很愛你"﹐所以這首歌到底有多紅就不用陳述太多了。這張專輯剛出來的時候﹐電台每天狂播這首歌﹐每天都聽得到。那陣子真的是完全地把這首歌給聽膩了。

劉若英後來也陸續發了幾張專輯﹐可是好像銷路都沒有這張專輯好。其實劉若英本來就不是大紅特紅的歌手﹐但偶爾聽聽她的歌﹐會被那平淡的音樂和歌聲所吸引。奶茶也唱過一堆好歌。我個人就非常喜歡她的後來﹑成全﹑一輩子的孤單﹑我等你﹑和黃立行合唱的分開旅行等。所以怎麼說呢﹖並不是超喜歡她﹐但她有的歌還不錯﹐而且其實長得也滿漂亮的。至於她為什麼交不到男朋友﹐那我就不知道了(一輩子的孤單就是寫這個窘境)。可能是條件太高了吧﹗

至於我為什麼到現在還單身呢﹖well, 我自認眼光不會太高﹐但可能是對的人還沒出現吧﹗之前也失戀了一陣子﹐所以現在覺得暫時單身也不錯。練練身體﹐畢業後找個好工作﹐賺點錢再來交女朋友也不遲吧﹗其實看其他人出雙入對的也會有點羨慕﹐所以其實也不排斥現在交個女朋友啦﹗誰有認識好女孩的話﹐不吝介紹介紹給我認識吧﹗

1988 Karyn White!

Okay, you wanna know how old school I've been lately? well, take a listen at this -- Karyn White's debut album (1988)!

Yeah, I see that puzzled expression on your face alright (I can't actually...) but the title track "Superwoman" has been made popular by the recent Mandarin rendtion by Gary Cao. Don't wanna spend too much time on Gary cuz that' not the point here (and everyone probably noticed this guy's crazy vocals already).

anyways, I was surfing the other day and found out there are actually 3 versions of "Superwoman" at least: Karyn White's original version, Gary's Mandarin version and Faye Wong's cantonese verison (can you believe it? OMG! I was actually pretty surprised).

Interestingly enough, "Superwoman" is one of the few soul ballads on the album. The rest features a r&b/pop style that's characteristic of the late 80s early 90s period (a music style made popular by Paula Abdul apparently...). A really upbeat album. The album should take you back in time where a different kinda music style ruled.

let's see, what was I doing in 1988... ah! can't remember! I was 4 damn it! LOL:P

another reason you should listen to this album: this album is produced by the top r&b dynamic duo producers, L.A Reid and Babyface! In fact, track 06 "Love Saw It" features Babyface in a duet with Karyn White so check that out~ it's a no.1 r&b classic back then. 最近超忙的﹗omg! 為什麼當初要讀歷史呢﹖><

唉~明天又要繼續寫報告了。。。好家在學期快完了~盼望聖誕假期趕快來﹗

最近從emule上抓了一堆經典專輯﹐現在放上幾張讓大家聽~=)

可能你會覺得聽這些東西很"俗"﹐但聽太多最近的流行歌曲﹐偶爾聽一下90年代初﹐流行音樂剛盛行的時候的專輯也不錯。

這張專輯沒那麼久遠﹐五年前的東西而已。這是我在網上無意間找到的﹐應該還滿罕見的﹐所以就傳上來了。

張敬軒的第一張個人EP專輯是一張粵語專輯。相信大家都聽過他的My Way專輯﹐可是這張EP是內地版﹐所以還滿稀有的。我是從來沒看過。張敬軒的第一張專輯好像出了3﹑4個版本﹐全部都不一樣。其中有一個版本還收錄了My Way 1PM版﹐一首超猛的作品。好了﹐回到這張EP。這張EP好像收錄了幾首專輯裡沒收錄的歌﹐但整張都是粵語。好像住在列治文不聽廣東歌的話有點怪。以後要開始聽廣東歌了。

(。。。第八首太遠是國語耶﹗)

這張專輯個人偏愛第八首"太遠"和與其他人合唱的第九首"Power In Your Hands"。好了﹐就介紹到這裡﹐繼續送上下一張囉﹗
